rms has updated his C# critique a bit, but not much has changed.
He’s still against C#, but he has corrected the part about Debian packaging. This is hardly his fault as it even took Debian developers several attempts to explain exactly what the hell the packaging change meant.
I also wonder why the focus is on “C#”. It seems easier to me to point out the don’t-even-try-to-pretend dangers of the non-standard bits. I’m not saying that there might not be a few problems with “C#” specifically, but there are certainly larger – and clearer – problems with mono as a whole.
