The Software Freedom Law Center has a podcast out now discussing C# / Mono.

It’s just over 30 minutes and provides a nice historical look at Mono – if you can sit through all the tangets and off-topic banter. There is some honest-to-god legal and technical discussion, so if you want some actual eduction it’s worth a listen.

There are some juicy tidbits like the assertion that no one in the software industry really took ECMA serious as a standards body when C#/CLI was submitted to it. It’s also nice to hear people clearly state that it is not the existance of a FLOSS alternative to .NET that is really at issue here.
