Why don’t you just shut up?

A lot of times, mono critics are told we should just “shut up”. Everything that needs to be said has been said, no one is going to change their mind, and there is no point in going on about things.
Let me tell you why I reject that.
In a comment on another post, I mentioned that one of the problems I had with Team Mono was I think there is way too much infatuation with Microsoft technologies.
Yes. That’s right.
Ars Technica gets it all wrong right from the start, but that’s to be expected as Ryan Paul never has a critical thing to say about mono.
Where are we on this?

I always love being asked that. Here are my thoughts overall on where we are with mono and some related bits.
Microsoft just announced they will apply the Community Promise to ECMA 334 and 335!
