<p><span id="more-362"></span>It&#8217;s just over 30 minutes and provides a nice historical look at Mono &#8211; if you can sit through all the tangets and off-topic banter. There is some honest-to-god legal and technical discussion, so if you want some actual eduction it&#8217;s worth a listen.</p>
<p>There are some juicy tidbits like the assertion that no one in the software industry really took ECMA serious as a standards body when C#/CLI was submitted to it. It&#8217;s also nice to hear people clearly state that it is not the existance of a FLOSS alternative to .NET that is really at issue here.</p>
